About this RV

Introducing Happy the Camper, our 2021 Winnebago Solis 59P Class B motorhome/RV/camper van. Featuring the classic pop-top, this is the only Class B RV on the road that sleeps 4 comfortably - 2 up top and 2 down below. Both sleeping areas are approximately queen-sized beds - the top measures 52" x 79" and the bottom Murphy bed measures 59" x 77" and folds up out of the way when not in use.
We have added a roof top AC to this 59P for use with power hook-ups. When camping off grid, a 220-watt flexible solar panel on the roof can fuel several days of 12 volt power.

While easy to maneuver at only a just 19'9" long, this Solis 59P has all the essentials to make it a home on wheels, including a mini fridge w/ freezer, 2-burner propane cook top, kitchen sink, toilet, shower, exterior wash stations, dining table with seating for 4, and a trailer hitch for light duty towing.

What's included

The camper comes fully equipped with all the cords, hoses, fittings, and adapters that you'll need to get power and water and dump your liquid waste at the campground. Also included with the rental at no additional cost are: toolbox with essential tools, leveling blocks, toilet paper and deodorizer fluid, cleaning supplies, and a telescoping broom and dust pan.

On request we can provide any or all of the following items at no additional charge:
-A kettle and French press with coffee and tea supplies
-Small 300 watt inverter for charging AC laptops and camera batteries with 12 volt power
-A 12 Volt fan for cooling when off grid.
-15 foot dog leash with clips at each end (connects to a leash loop on the running board)
-String lights and extension cord (for use with power hook ups)

Please note: We offer a special rate for renters who wish to use the camper exclusively as a spare bedroom within the Austin Metro area, and will not be logging many miles. We can bring the camper to you, hook up to your power and water, and pick it up at the end of your rental. Contact us to inquire.

If you incur a toll during your trip, please make a note of it and let us know on your return to avoid administrative fees. Thank you.

Recommendations

We were inspired to start this rental business by our experiences renting Class B RV's in the past. We especially love how family friendly the Solis is, with sleeping and seatbelts for four, and at a size that makes travel and parking so much easier than in larger rigs.

Destinations we have enjoyed and look forward to visiting again: Lost Maples State Park, Garner State Park, South Llano River State Park, Monahan's Sandhills State Park, Balmorhea, Davis Mountains State Park, Big Bend, and many many more. Other things to note

- Insurance and website fees are additional costs that are not included in the daily rate. To get a total cost, you can proceed through the checkout process or request a quote.
- 100 miles/day are included in the rental. Additional miles are charged at $0.50/mile.
- The vehicle comes with a full fuel tank and empty waste tanks (grey water and toilet). If it is returned the same way, there are no additional fees/costs other than for excess miles and any damage. Otherwise, it's $5.00/gallon for fuel and $50 to dump the tanks. You will receive full instructions on how to empty the tanks during the walk through.
- Pickup is at 1:00 PM (or later) and drop-off is at 11:00 AM (or earlier). Unless discussed ahead of time, pickup earlier than 1:00 PM or drop-off later than 11:00 AM may incur a fee of $15/hr because it will impact bookings occurring the same day.

We are Happy Camping ATX, also known as Kelley and Miles. The decision to create this rental business was inspired by many great memories made while renting class B campers ourselves. We, along with our daughter and beloved dog, enjoy traveling to State Parks and National Parks (mostly in Texas and New Mexico so far).
