Welcome to your 5 Star Hotel on wheels! Fully loaded Luxury Glamping Van with all the amenities to take you dry camping comfortably, worry free and in LUXURY! This is a 2 WHEEL DRIVE w/ a lithium battery, no generator is needed. It's super quiet, so if you are sensitive to noise this is a plus! Our Van also comes with hookups for electric, water and cable if you are camping in sites that offer these amenities. The spacious dinette/lounge area easily converts into a super comfy and spacious "RV King" 10 inches wider than a queen! You can also configure it into a lounger bed and 2 seats as well.

RULES AND POLICIES:
• NO Off-Roading/THIS IS A 2WD VEHICLE
• NO traveling to Mexico or Canada
• NO Festivals
• NO Tailgating
• NO Pets of any kind or size
**PLEASE NOTE**WE DO NOT USE OUT TOILET FOR #2. We will provide you with convenient biodegradable toilet liner bags that can be easily disposed of.
We want to make sure you are fully informed and have no unrealistic expectations concerning your Van Rental. We want to be 100% transparent before you reserve and prevent any misunderstandings later.
• No Refunds for Early Returns or late starts: If you return early or start late, we do not refund the days/time you will not use, no matter the situation. We hold these dates available for your use.
• Fee for Late Returns: You will also be responsible for the cost of any canceled rentals due to a late return.
• All Drivers Must Be at Least 25 Years Old: and must be listed on the contract when you pick up the unit.
• NO SMOKING: No Smoking includes any and all forms, ways, or products inside the Van. Smell of any kind of tobacco/product forfeits your entire security deposit.
• Cooking Odors: We do not allow anything that can create a strong smell or mess inside the Van that is difficult to remove, such as fish, heavy spices, bacon or any deep frying. Please cook anything that causes a smell or mess outside.
• Travel Restrictions: This vehicle is NOT allowed to travel into Mexico or Canada and will cause the unit to be reported stolen and a total forfeit of your deposit.
• You are responsible for any ticket violations (tolls,parking,speeding,red light,etc.).
• Awnings: The awning is allowed to be used, but it should only be out when in use. Never leave it open or unattended. The awning is to be retracted immediately during wind or rain. Awnings are fragile, any damage, including damage while driving, is 100% your responsibility.
• Furnishings: Renter acknowledges the Van is provided fully furnished and will be charged the full replacement cost of any missing or broken items, including any rental items. The owner will provide a complete inventory list along with all operating instructions that is kept inside the Van.
• Furniture and Upholstery: Please protect furniture and upholstery from activities that cause stains, damage and soiling. Excess cleaning required to recover the cleanliness of the unit and upholstery to a clean/neutral state will result in additional charges assessed taken from the security deposit.
• Food Debris: Please do not allow food debris to be placed in sink drains. Van sink drainage cannot accommodate food debris and particles. The renter is responsible for damages due to cleaning drains of storage tanks.
• Safe Speeds: Please drive the vehicle at safe speeds using a safe following distance. Van's are heavy vehicles and hard braking causes excess wear and tear on the braking system. The renter is responsible for damages to the braking system and or tires that result from hard braking.
• Van Ladder and Roof: Please DO NOT climb the ladder or attempt to stand or sit on the roof. The renter is responsible for damages caused by climbing the ladder or use of the Van roof. The ladders are there for maintenance only.
• Return Condition: The vehicle must be returned in substantially the same condition as when received it. We will wash the exterior. Never use wheel acid because it will stain the black wheels. We will clean the wheels.
• Cassette toilet and gray tank should be completely empty. We charge $150 to empty them for you.
• This Mercedes Sprinter Van IS NOT 4X4 and not allowed on off road trails, graded dirt paths are okay. DO NOT drive the Van thru thick or overgrown brush,trees,etc that can scratch the Van
• Abandon vehicle - we charge $1000 per day plus all accrued expenses and rental losses that it take us to safely return the vehicle to our home in Oakland California.
• You will receive a full tank of DIESEL #2 fuel: The Vehicle Must be Returned Full.
• No Towing Allowed: No trailers, or vehicles.
• Vehicle may be operated only on official roads open to motor vehicle travel as designated by the federal, state, local government, National Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. The renter agrees to operate the vehicle only in a safe, non-abusive, and lawful manner. Any off-roading will be a forfeit of your entire security deposit. Watch for branches, rocks or anything else that can damage the vehicle.
PLEASE RETURN VAN:
• Cassette Toilet & Gray Tank Emptied ($150 fee applied if not)
• Full Tank of DIESEL #2 ONLY
• All Trash Removed
PICK UP TIMES:
• PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 1 HOUR EARLY for your orientation and test drive. This is very important and can't be rushed.
• We have full time jobs so please let us know what time you want to pick up the van and we will do our best to accomodate you.
• We do not do van pick-ups or drop-offs after 6pm. We cannot inspect the van with you when it’s dark.
• You are free to leave your car in front of our house when picking up the van. We are not responsible for your car or any valuables inside.
RETURN CONDITION:
• Please return the van as clean as when you picked it up. Please use only provided cleaning materials as to not damage our interior. If you bring it back dirty there will be a $100 fee. No need to clean the outside of the van.
• Gas full tank upon return. DIESEL #2 ONLY. If not then $150 fee will be applied.
• Must empty the grey water tank and the toilet cassette. If not then $150 fee will be applied. We will show you where and how to empty it.
• GPS tracker is installed for safety. There will be a $300 fee if the GPS is tampered with or taken offline.
• If you return early there will be no refund of any unused days so please make sure you plan ahead.
• We are flexible on return times, please ask before booking. Van pick ups in the AM must be returned by 12:00pm. Van pick ups after 12:00pm must be returned by 5:00pm.
• Please no drop-offs after 5pm. There will be $100 fee if return after 5pm. If you return after 8pm you will be charged an extra full day rate.
Recommendations
One of the greatest things about traveling in the Sprinter Van is you are able to stay at multiple different locations on your adventures without the hassle of dragging luggage everywhere/annoying check in and check out times and overpriced Hotels or AirBNB’s. You are finally able to visit all the beautiful places you’ve dreamed of going without breaking the bank to do so!
We have been camping and glamping for decades all around the West Coast. Owning our Sprinter Van has opened so many new doors for us to explore places where we previously would have had to fly, then rent a car, then get hotels etc….Now we just go!
We have rallied our Van pretty hard since we purchased it in August of 22’. Here are some of places that we love and would absolutely recommend!

Sites can book up pretty far in advance between Spring and Fall. We have some helpful tips to help you navigate these sites. TIP- it's always a good idea to have some cash on hand to buy firewood,propane,etc. More remote locations can sometimes be cash only.
