What's included
4x camping chairs, folding table, linens (pillows, comforter, sheets, towels) cookware, utensils, plates, bowls, cups, kettle, coffee setup, Yeti ice cooler, lamps.

There are so many beautiful parks in and near the Bay Area. Our favorite drive is the Northern CA coast, from SF/Oakland up to Mendocino and back. There are peaceful and private lagoons, unreal sunsets, hot springs, adorable beachside towns, you name it! Just let us know if you want any recommendations: we love anything from a quick overnight getaway to a couple weeks on the road.

Should you need to fill the water tank: pour water with hose into water tank in back Should you need to empty the grey sink water tank - easily emptied from side of van.

There is an electrical hookup. The battery bank is charged by driving and if you want you can plug from van to normal electrical hook-up. If you want to hook up at your campsite, this gives you access to more light and electrical sockets within the van to connect your devices to. You don't need to hook up, as there are lights that run by the van battery. If you choose to you can also use the propane gas powered, stove, shower, and heater.

We do have a GPS tracker on board.

There are a few disclaimers.
1. We have a Yeti cooler with the rental instead of a fridge. We use this on our family trips and it works better and has more room than the fridge.
2. The ceiling of the pop-top is a little stained from previous use in wet weather. We have scrubbed the entire thing so its very clean. Our kids sleep in the upper bed. Fine to use in the rain.

Other things to note

This the perfect vehicle for a small group of 4 to comfortably enjoy on the road. 2 Sleeping berths - both are full size. The van sleeps a total of 4 people. Seat belts for 4 passengers, 2 burner propane stove, sink, water tank, Yeti ice cooler, water hook up, electric hook up.
This rental includes 125 miles per night with additional miles charged at $0.35 per mile. While this van is perfectly capable of traveling 300+ miles per day, it is best to keep your daily mileage under 200 miles, especially in hot weather. If you do need to travel extensive periods in a day, please take a few rests for you and the van.
No Burning Man!! Please, no trips to Death Valley in the summer months.
Please do NOT take this vehicle off road. It is not a 4 wheel drive! Please explore our beautiful state without going off road.
This van is awesome to drive with it's large front windshield. Please keep in mind that this is a unique vehicle that requires more attention than a modern vehicle. You will need to keep an eye on the gauges and keep in mind that when going over mountain passes or steep grades it Will slow down from 65 mph. This is normal. Please do not push it too hard.

Please be sure to fill the gas tank for the van before returning home- with Super Premium gas (not Regular)
The van when hooked up by extension cord, allows you to plug in your electrical devices. You may choose to camp without being hooked up to electric.
The propane gas, when switched on, allows you to use gas stove, water in sink, shower, and heater. The camper van heating system which is powered by propane, can remain on, if desired on cooler evenings.
When using propane for cooking, open a window, to keep good air flow. There is a propane alarm, which will beep if gas level rises, or if the van battery is low.
