Perfect RV for weekend camping trips or cross country adventures. Easy to tow with most any vehicle rated to tow 3500lbs. Comes with a 2" shank weight distribution hitch and anti-sway bars. Fully stocked kitchen which includes a Keurig coffee maker and a stove top percolator for those boondocking experiences. Queen size bed. Microwave / Convection oven. One must provide sheets, towels, and consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Has a cold A/C and a warm furnace that runs off of 12v and propane. There are dual 20lb propane tanks. Electric tongue jack makes hitching up a breeze. I also provide leveling blocks, chocks, and a hydraulic floor jack with tire tool in case it's needed. The RPod is also stocked with fresh water hose (white), water filter, water pressure regulator, black water flush hose (black), sewer hose with sidewinder support for easy draining. The black and gray water tanks hold 30 gallons each. You must be connected to a 30amp power source to use the A/C or microwave. The refrigerator and heater run on propane so no need for electricity. 200 watts of solar sit on the roof of the RV to keep the 200 amp hours of DC voltage fully charged. This means operating everything aside from the A/C and microwave will be a snap. There are two camp chairs included for a nice evening around the campfire. I also offer a quiet Honda inverter generator as an optional item for rent if you'd like to boondock or camp in our National Park or Forest system and still be able to use the A/C or microwave. Additionally we offer a propane fire pit which can be used in most campground that do not allow a ground fire or have a burn ban in place and a portable propane grill that is great for steaks, burgers, etc. When you rent either of these accessories, I'll include an extra 20lb propane tank.
The Rpod has a fully stocked kitchen complete with a Keurig and a stove top percolator for that must have morning coffee, a toaster, and crockpot. You must supply your own queen sheets and appropriate bedding, towels, etc. There is a mattress pad on the bed for clean use. Other items included with the rental are a large front mat for comfort and cleanliness. This will help keep the RV clean and comfortable. Not forgetting our furry friends, we've included a bucket for dog water, a 25 foot cable to keep your pet safe while sitting around the campsite, and a food pan. Just bring their favorite pet food. There is ample storage to pack your own, hammocks, cots, etc. There are two adult size folding camp chairs included.
There are many fun State parks less than 125 miles from our home base. We've visited them all. If you have a difficult time making reservations at a State park, try an LCRA campground or a municipally run campground. They are nice and generally have sites open on short notice. We love Canyon of the Eagles and North or South Shore Bastrop Lake campgrounds run by LCRA. Another favorite of ours is Kerrville-Schreiner Municipal Park in Kerrville. Camp in Deer Field Loop and enjoy full hookups. Also consider a trip out to beautiful Big Bend National Park. The Rpod is set up for camping in our National Parks with limited utilities. Add the portable generator, fire pit (no camp fires allowed in Big Bend), and the gas grill to your rental for a fantastic experience exploring the majestic high desert country of Big Bend National Park. Don't forget your bathing suit so you can soak in the hot springs along the Rio Grande river. Finally, our Rpod loves the mountains in southwestern Colorado. Camp in the National Forest campgrounds along the Million Dollar Highway between Durango, Silverton, Ouray, and Telluride. This is a great summer vacation where you can camp at an elevation of 10,000 feet above sea level and have a good chance of waking up to six inches of snow on the ground in the middle of July! Explore the ghost towns along jeep trails through these beautiful mountains. We've seen elk, deer, moose, and bear in this country. Take the Rpod for one or two weeks and receive a discounted rate. Don't forget the generator as you won't have electricity in the National Forest.
Pets are most welcome. We travel with our two Labradors and would not leave them at home. They are well behaved and good campers. Our goal is to share our RV so you can enjoy an outdoor adventure and have memorable experiences as a family. My wife and I have thousands of miles of experience camping across the country. We can offer plenty of advice on where to camp, what to take, how many days you may want to spend in a specific location or just about any other thing related to RV camping. When you pick up the Rpod, expect a full orientation on the few different systems. We will spend as much or as little time as you'd like getting acquainted with the Rpod. I'll get the hitch adjusted to your tow vehicle. You will need a 7-pin plug for the lights and brakes or an adapter to go from a 7 pin to whatever you have on your vehicle.
