Getting to Hecla-Grindstone Provincial Park is easy with a variety of transportation options available. The park is located approximately 170 kilometers north of Winnipeg and can be accessed by car or RV via Highway 8. There are several entrances to the park including the main entrance at the Hecla Village as well as the Grindstone Point and Gull Harbour entrances. Visitors should be aware that there are restrictions on rig sizes with a maximum length of 30 feet for RVs and trailers. Additionally some roads within the park may be narrow or winding so it’s important to drive with caution and be aware of other vehicles.
