2. McLeod Meadows Campground
McLeod Meadows Campground ranks second in popularity boasting 126 campsites that require reservations. Situated in the western part of Kootenay National Park this campground is close to the scenic Vermilion River. Cobb Lake Campground


Cobb Lake Campground has 52 sites available on a first-come-first-served basis. Located near the western entrance of Kootenay National Park this campground is an excellent choice for those seeking a more rustic experience. RVs and trailers up to 27 feet in length can be accommodated and the campground offers basic amenities like pit toilets food lockers and fire pits. Cobb Lake Campground is open from late June to early September and is pet
