Visitors to Lake Carmi State Park can access the park by private vehicle via two entrances the main entrance off Route 120 and the day-use area entrance off Route There are no restrictions on rig sizes making it an ideal destination for RVs of all shapes and sizes. However visitors should be aware that some of the park’s roads are narrow and winding so it’s essential to drive cautiously. Additionally there are no public transportation options available to the park so visitors will need to rely on private vehicles to get around.

RVs and trailers up to 40 feet are permitted. Located just a few miles from the state park Lone Pine Campsites is a family-owned campground that offers 100 sites for tents RVs and trailers. The campground features a swimming pool playground and recreation hall as well as fishing and boating on the nearby Lake Carmi. Each site comes with a fire pit and picnic table and amenities include hot showers flush toilets and a laundry facility. Maple Grove Campground
This campground is located on the eastern shore of Lake Carmi and offers 60 sites for tents RVs and trailers. Each site comes with a fire pit and picnic table and amenities include hot showers flush toilets and a dump station. Pets are welcome and the campground is open from mid-May to mid-October. Camping Cabins at Lake Carmi
If you’re looking for a more rustic experience these camping cabins are a great option. Located within the state park the cabins sleep up to six people and come with a fire pit picnic table and outdoor grill. There are no bathrooms or kitchens in the cabins but they are located near the campground’s hot showers and flush toilets. Pets are welcome and the cabins are open from mid-May to mid-October.

This first-come-first-served campground is located on the eastern shore of Lake Carmi and offers 14 sites for tents and small RVs or trailers.
