The park has several entrances including the main entrance on Route 178 and the south entrance on Deer Park Road. Visitors can also access the park via the Illinois & Michigan Canal State Trail which runs along the park’s eastern boundary. When it comes to RVs there are some restrictions on rig sizes. The maximum length for RVs is 50 feet and there are some tight turns and low bridges that may be difficult for larger rigs to navigate. It’s recommended that RV renters check with the park beforehand to ensure that their rig is suitable for the park’s roads and facilities.
