When it comes to transportation options for visiting Mount Richardson Provincial Park private vehicles are the most convenient way to get there. The park has several entrances with the main entrance located on the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16) approximately 100 kilometers east of Prince George. Visitors traveling by RV should be aware that there are restrictions on rig sizes with a maximum length of 30 feet and a maximum width of 8.5 feet. Additionally there are no hookups for RVs in the park so visitors should come prepared with their own supplies.
