Terra Nova National Park is easily accessible by private vehicle. Visitors can enter the park from three different entrances the North Entrance the South Entrance and the Eastern Entrance. There are no restrictions on rig sizes but RV renters should be aware that some roads in the park are narrow and winding. It’s also recommended to fill up on gas before entering the park as there are no gas stations within its boundaries.

RV parking is available in designated areas throughout the park. Overnight parking is restricted to designated campsites only. Camping with an RV and exploring the park using alternative transportation methods is highly recommended.

The campground is open from mid-May to mid-October. Sandy Pond Campground is a smaller campground with 30 sites located near the western entrance of the park.
