Driving/Transportation
Visitors to Voyageurs National Park can access the park via private vehicles although there are some restrictions on rig sizes. The park has three main entrances Rainy Lake Kabetogama Lake and Ash River. The Rainy Lake and Kabetogama Lake entrances are accessible by paved roads while the Ash River entrance requires travel on a gravel road. RVs and trailers over 30 feet long are not recommended on the Ash River entrance road due to its narrow and winding nature.

RV parking is available at designated sites within the park but not throughout. Overnight parking outside of these designated areas is prohibited. While RV camping is an option exploring the park using alternative transportation methods such as boats or hiking is recommended to fully experience all the park has to offer.

Public transportation within the park is limited but there are walking paths and water taxis available for exploring certain areas. The Rainy Lake Visitor Center offers a free shuttle bus service to various points of interest in the park during the summer months.
